About Me
I started my life in the games industry in 2002 at Climax Studios (now called Black Rock Studios) in Brighton, England. It was a brutal introduction, with some long hours, but I learned a huge amount from the people there. Sometimes I wonder how the hell I passed the initial interview knowing what I knew back then, but luckily for me I did.
A couple of years later, I got the opportunity to interview for a job in San Diego for a company called Sammy Studios. When they offered me a job that same day, I accepted almost immediately. I just wanted to try something new, and had nothing holding me back. Through the last four years we’ve been through several ownership changes, and we’re now known as High Moon Studios.
I’ve worked on both of the games that High Moon has developed (Darkwatch and The Bourne Conspiracy), and now I’m an engine programmer in charge of R&D. It’s an incredibly rewarding job, and unlike my first job in the industry, I get to have a life outside of work.
